About Us

Mission Statement

Gratitude Foundation, Inc.’s mission is to provide a supportive, safe, and clean structured housing program for adults recovering from substance use disorder and other challenges. We will tailor our program to each individual’s need, based on the model of 12 Step Programs.

We will take a holistic approach to helping each individual to be successful in recovery, by dealing with the spiritual, physical, psychological, and social aspects of substance use disorder and other challenges, by providing structured housing programs.

Vision Statement

To provide structured recovery housing to help individuals become fully self-supporting, and productive members of society. Our goal is to be a presence in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Our Housing

Each of our homes offers a safe and comfortable environment, where anyone can learn how to feel, deal, and heal without the use of substances. Each bedroom is fully furnished, and weekly program fees include utilities, internet, washer and dryer, furniture, paper products, an individual plan of action, and a place to call home.

Our program layout allows for best safety practices of all program participants and neighbors, and is designed to keep high quality rooms at low cost. There is no minimum nor maximum stay, as long as all program guidelines and expectations are met. By working with a variety of outside organizations, we are able to address many of the needs of our participants, as they find their path to being fully self-supporting. On a case-by-case basis, transportation, grocery assistance, and temporary housing scholarships are available. Transportation is paramount for new housing participants, and we are working to ensure all critical transportation needs are met.

Gratitude Foundation, Inc.'s mission is to provide a supportive, safe, and clean structured housing program for adults recovering from substance use disorder and other challenges. The Gratitude Foundation’s Feel Deal Heal Program aims to reduce existing gaps in services. This program will provide structured recovery housing while assisting individuals in becoming fully self-supporting and productive members of society. The program is based on a graduation system of learning with six subjects of concentration— mental health, physical health, financial health, educational health, social health, and lifestyle health.

This program will benefit those who are overcoming a substance use disorder, and in need of stable housing while providing a vigorous program individualized to improve each participant’s lifestyle. Your donation will allow for the necessary support services to adequately assist the target population. The program will be expanding the Gratitude Foundation’s existing operations.
